06/ 13/ 00 CowParade Kicked Off in Stamford with Diamonds & Denim

The opening night gala for CowParade Stamford 2000 took the cow theme to the max. Held the evening of June 14, 2000 at the Stamford Marriott Hotel, the Diamonds & Denim Hoe-down Celebration featured horse-drawn hayrides to view the cows, a country and western band, line and square dancing, and a barbecue, of course. Appropriate attire was black tie and blue jeans.
